Tactical Cell Extractions, Riot Ops and High Risk Inmate Escorts
Course Overview and Curriculum
Course Synopsis:
During normal operations of a facility, situations can arise where Line Officers may not be equipped to deal with certain exigent circumstances. Command staff may need to activate the departments’ emergency system. Specially trained operators responding to Incorporated Cell Extractions (ICE), Conceptual Pod Dominations for disturbances, employment of gas and use of gas mask operations and less lethal deployment is no easy task. Conducting inmate escorts (High Risk/Value/Profile), it may be needed in certain situations. The need to be highly trained and disciplined in all these areas is a MUST in order to prevent injuries and reduction in liability issues.
These operators must also be mentally prepared for the possibility that the use of force may be necessary and implementation of special and unconventional tactics to resolve any situation may be necessary. These situations and tactics are what set’s the TOG-US cadre apart. Experts in these situations and having real world knowledge and expertise, only enhances the learning experience for the attending operators and the hosting agency.
This program will provide operators with recognized and proven techniques to allow them to tactically intervene and safely employ tactical solutions should it become necessary. Employing these tactical concepts and ensuring the safest possible way to resolve any situation may assist in reducing injuries to staff, officers, civilians and inmates.
These concepts will be taught and shared through the day for a period of one working week (5 days) of 8 to 10 hours for a total of 42 training hours. They will be implemented by the combination of both classroom and practical exercises.
NOTE: This course is physically demanding and challenging. Please notify training cadre and department command staff of any physical or medical limitations that you may have. Every day will start with at least 30 minutes of physical training and endurance enhancement training.
